Kristin Jensen is a singer-actress who has been singing since day one, when her lusty newborn wail inspired her Aunt Norma to nickname her “Bella-Box” and predict she would one day become an opera singer. Kristin trained and performed for several years as an opera singer and decided to change directions after a life-changing experience onstage in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kristin is thrilled to have realized the fulfillment of a pipe dream she’s secretly harbored since high school – training as an actor. She took a break from the singing thing for a while to immerse herself in a two-year acting course at the William Esper Studio in New York City. Always up for an adventure, Kristin immediately took off on another pipe dream – that of living “la vie bohème” and making her way around Europe as a street performer for over two months. She has now relocated close to family in Salt Lake City, where she performs with the Utah Opera chorus, teaches voice lessons, and is busy cooking up new projects and dreaming of Europe. Kristin has delighted audiences around the United States and in Canada, England, Scotland, France, Austria, Italy, the Czeck Republic, and Indonesia in various operas, concerts, shows, and on street corners.
